Appreciating the performance of the officers of Directorate Hyderabad, the DG directed the officers of Inland Revenue to gear up their efforts in unearthing those who are involved in illicit tobacco trade and filing fake sales tax invoices.
He further emphasized that tax collection is extremely important for the sustained development for the country.
He was also briefed by Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue, Shahid Iqbal Baloch about the strategy for bringing the tax defaulter in the tax net.
Director Intelligence & Investigation IR Hyderabad Abdul Rahman Bullo, Collector Customs Khalid Hussain Jamali, Commissioner Inland Revenue Mohammad Aslam Mari and Additional Director I & I Hyderabad Mumtaz Ali Thebo were also present in the meeting.
